Mental Health Courses

Aramuda Consulting deliver face-to-face mental health courses for organisations and businesses across Canada, where we use your training or meeting room to deliver the course.

This 2 day program provides the skills to help someone developing a mental health problem or in a mental health crisis. First aid is given until appropriate professional treatment is received or until the crisis resolves.
Mental Health First Aid International formally recognises those workplaces that embrace MHFA training and make a commitment to supporting the mental health of their staff.

This course teaches participants, over two days, how to assist adolescents who are developing a mental health problem or in a mental health crisis.

This is a half-day alertness workshop that prepares anyone, regardless of prior experience or training, to become a suicide-alert helper.

Become an accredited MHFA’ider is a fantastic start but what is required is regular practice at having conversations using the ALGEE model.

Through our partnership with the Whole Food Institute we are able to provide training for your staff that will promote their physical wellbeing.
This one day program provides participants with the knowledge necessary to identify when someone may be experiencing the most common mental illnesses and the skills to begin a conversation with that person.
This is a 2-day interactive workshop in suicide first aid where participants learn to recognise when someone may be at risk of suicide and respond in ways that help increase their immediate safety and link them to further help.
This 60 to 90 minute program explores beliefs about suicide and suicide awareness. It is intended for all members of a community ages 15 and up.
Resilience is a much talked about topic – for good reason! Whether we can and how we bounce back when life sends us some inevitable challenges, plays a large role in maintaining our mental health.
This 1 day program has been specifically designed for staff engaged with customers or clients who may frequently become agitated, distressed or angry.
